About the Item

Delicate French mid-century flush mount light with pale pink glass, hand-enameled floral decoration, and dragonfly motifs. Charming French flush-mount light from the 1950s, featuring a softly frosted light-pink glass shade decorated with hand-enameled flowers and delicate dragonfly motifs in pastel tones. The octagonal glass shade displays a refined floral composition with pink blossoms, soft yellow accents, and vivid blue dragonflies, creating a poetic and decorative appearance characteristic of mid-century French lighting design. The subtle pastel palette and lightly frosted surface create a warm, elegant atmosphere when illuminated. Originally likely created as a small pendant light, the piece was later adapted into a flush mount configuration, making it practical for lower ceilings while preserving its decorative character. Two sockets for E27 (E26) size light bulbs. Dimensions: Diameter: ca. 37 cm / 14.57 in Depth: ca. 10 cm / 3.94 in In good condition with slight signs of aging and use consistent with age.
