About the Item

Striking pair of Italian wall sconces by Longobard, dating from the 1970s and designed with a bold Brutalist decorative character. Each sconce features a semi-circular wall-mounted form with a textured Murano glass diffuser, framed by a dark structure and enriched along the upper edge with a band of multicolored faceted glass blocks. The colored elements, in tones of blue, amber, green, yellow, clear and orange, create a vibrant jewel-like effect when illuminated, adding depth, rhythm and visual richness to the design. The lower frosted and textured glass shade diffuses the light softly, while the faceted upper glass pieces provide a stronger sculptural presence. The contrast between rough texture, geometric composition and vivid color gives these sconces a distinctive 1970s Italian Brutalist look. Complete with the manufacturer’s label on the back, they are ideal for hallways, living rooms, bedrooms or statement interiors. Dimensions each: 30 cm width x 15 cm depth x 17 cm height.
