About the Item

An impressive and rare large-scale wall sconce of Italian manufacture, dating back to the mid-20th century. This 7-light (7-arm) fixture is a masterpiece of the Florentine tradition, crafted from hand-wrought iron with a rich, hand-applied gold leaf finish. The design features a sophisticated symmetrical arrangement of acanthus leaves, elegant C-scrolls, and floral motifs typical of the Louis XV Rococo revival style. With its significant width of 80 cm (31.5 inches), this piece is designed to be a focal point in a grand entryway, dining room, or salon.
