About the Item

Italian mid-century wall lamp in brass and metal with adjustable arm by Chiarini, 1950s. Wall lamp with adjustable direction, telescopic arm and latch mechanism. Structure in brass with adjustable length and round section, composed by three parts. Diffusor internally painted in white metal and in light yellow on external surface, provided with small holes on the perimeter that leave the light to go out a bit. The main light diffusion comes from the central bottom part, where is placed an E27 lamp holder. Structure provided of a mechanism that allows to go up and down with the position of the lampshade, using a movable weight with a switch on it, and through the movement of the electric cable inside the arm of the lamp. Mark present on the back of the wall brass support. Produced by Chiarini, 1950s. Good condition, cablage verified and working. Small signs on the structure and brass parts in patina. Measurement in cm: in minimum extension 75x43x29h, with adjustable height until 90cm in maximum extension 130x43x29h, with adjustable height until 40cm This lamp would be suitable for different kind of interior, thanks to its versatile size and composition. Usable in a dining room, on kitchen peninsula or also on a desk.
