Marvelous, stunning and long Italian Set of Eight clear and amber Murano glass wall sconces from 1970s. These fixtures were made during the 1970s in Italy for the Venice Company “Mazzega”. Each wall sconce is composed by 6 units of Murano glasses and metal gold structure. Each sconce is equipped with 2 light sockets E14. A professional electrician has checked and prepared the piece to operate in US, UK and EU. Mazzega lie in the noble Venetian glassworking tradition; the firm was founded Angelo Vittorio Mazzega in Murano, Italy. In 1950 his son Gianni Bruno Mazzega started working in the family’s glass factory. Gianni Bruno Mazzega is responsible for the creation of many beauty murano glass chandeliers, Wall Sconces and Table Lamps. A colorful, vintage Mid-Century modern pair of Italian wall sconces, appliques made of hand blown smoked Murano glass produced by Mazzega, in good condition. Each wall light, lamp is composed with five yellow and white twisted glass pieces which are hanging on short slanted arms, supported by a rectangular polished brass frame. The detailed lighting features a two light socket. The wires have been renewed. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1960 - 1970, Murano, Italy.
