About the Item

Designed by Andrew Kornat in 2015 this Long Bamboo Swing Arm wall sconce was inspired by the glamourous sets in Hollywood movies of the 1930s that exude style and elegance The elegant gently sweeping arm has a subtle curve to elevate the lamp holder and shade from the back plate whilst being able to move 180 degrees from left to right, making it a perfect reading lamp for a beside or indeed an office or as a library light. The arm has a stylised modern bamboo effect which has two ball details, one connected to the upright lamp holder and the other solid brass ball finial at the end of the arm. All supported by a heavy cast brass back plate and swing joint for smooth manoeuvrable stability The shade in the images is a 7" Tapered Drum shade in Gold silk with Candle clip fitting - shades are sold separately or we recommend to be purchased locally We have a pair available from stock in Matt Bronze finish (as shown here) as well as Matt Nickel and Matt Gold Varnish shown in our other listings, but customers can order them to be made new in a variety of other finishes - please see the listing details Currently wired with E27/ ES lamp holders and wired for the UK/ European Market, we can easily re-wire for anywhere in the world. Or if ordering brand new you can specify your required wiring
