About the Item

This stunning wall sconces by Maison Charles was made in this century but to the exact original design by Jacques Charles in the late 60s and early 70s. Part of the renowned Inox collection and originally made of curved sheet steel, this one is made of one single huge sheet of hand cut and curved Brass with internal scrolls that have been ingeniously attached internally with a band of brass over the centre and finished in Nickel Plate with shiny polished surface to the outside and Matt finish on the inside - a stunning subtle contrast and a piece of metal work magic. The scrolls on each side house 2 x G9 lamp holder one shining up and one shining down to create a stunning light effect with the curved and shaped sheet brass Andrew Kornat launched Maison Charles in the UK over 20 years ago to the interior design trade and was their exclusive distributor for many years, he know the collection inside and out - so please do ask any questions
