Four sided Nakashima style wall lamp for Lightolier, 1960s. The rectilinear box frame of solid walnut has an inset grid of birch over laid on shoji paper panels which conceal a stand of four Edison style sockets. Simple, elegant similar to the Lightolier floor lamp Model: 8509. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition. This stunning wall lamp from the 1960s exemplifies the serene, handcrafted aesthetic inspired by George Nakashima.
