About the Item

Exceptional pair of French Bronze Swan form wall sconces Large tall and heavy bronze sconces. The backs in the form of arrows at the bottom with bow wrapped shafts above and palmette finials. A swan figure with outspread wings in patinated and gilt bronze supports the arms and is decorated with scrolls and palmettes on the breast and is mounted on a leafy base. The arms with flower form bobeches and real wax candle sheaths. Along with smocked pleated ecru silk shades with fine gold braid trim. 20 1/2" H x 10 1/2" W x 7 1/2" D 4 3/4" Dia, shades Condition:Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include some wear to the gilt on the swans, one sheath chipped at the top which do not detract from the exquisite presentation.
