About the Item

A stunning pair of Italian 18th century Baroque period giltwood three arm sconces, from Lucca. Each sconce is centered by a beautiful foliate bottom support from where the elegant arms branch out. Each arm is adorned with acanthus leaves and displays a mottled candle cup. Above are most impressive and richly carved pierced scrolled foliate designs with acanthus leaves and rosettes centering most charming cherubs draped in a flowing fabric.
