About the Item

These sconces are essentially of truncated triangular section, the mount and backplate look at first blush to be aluminium but more careful examination show this to be a finish rather than solid metal. This means that they are more robust. They are surprisingly sturdy in construction. The frosted shade has short vertical blazes at the base and is repousse with flowerheads and stylized leaves. In a 50s or Art Deco scheme they would well-complement the setting.
