About the Item

Wall sconce designed by Per Lütken for Holmegaard Glasværk, Denmark, early 1970s. Referred to as the Glasplatte (Glass Plaque) model. Features a thick, curved pane of frosted art glass, hand-decorated with fused glass masses in warm tones of red, orange, and brown. The artisanal manufacturing process creates a multi-colored structure with irregular streaks, internal air bubbles, and crystallized particles, resulting in distinct optical light diffusion. When illuminated, it provides a warm, glowing ambience. The glass component is mounted on an adjustable metal fitting allowing for angle modification.
