About the Item

A striking set of four wall sconces circa by Massive Lighting Belgium circa 1980s. Executed in the spirit of French/Belgian Post-Modern architectural lighting of the early 1980s. Combining polished brass with thick bevelled acrylic, the design emphasises geometry, reflection and the sculptural qualities of light. Massive was a Belgian lighting company, especially known for accessible decorative lighting from the mid-century through postmodern period. It later became part of Philips/Signify’s consumer lighting world. Professionally restored and presented in excellent vintage condition after careful polishing of both the brass and acrylic surfaces. There are some small surface marks consistent with age. Please see all images. An elegant set suited to both contemporary and late twentieth-century interiors Each uses 1 E27 light bulb.
