About the Item

Set of three Italian wall sconces by Gaetano Sciolari, dating from the 1960s. The sconces feature a geometric construction in polished chrome and brushed brass, combined with clear cylindrical glass shades. The alternating chrome uprights and curved brass elements create the distinctive architectural design associated with Sciolari's lighting from this period. The set consists of two larger matching wall sconces and one smaller version. All three retain their clear cylindrical glass shades. Four matching nine-light Gaetano Sciolari chandeliers from the same series are also available separately, making it possible to create a larger matching lighting ensemble. Italy, circa 1960s.
