About the Item

Set of two exceptional and elegant Mid-Century Modern wall lamps or sconces. Designed probably by Hanns Hoffmann-Lederer for Heinz Hecht, 1960s, Germany. The sconces are executed in textured plexiglass and brass. There are slight differences since they are hand-made items. One of them has clear spaces on the top and bottom (see all images. The photos with light show it clearly). Each lamp needs 2 x E27 / E26 Edison screw fit bulbs. They are wired, in working condition and run both on 110 / 230 volt. Dimensions: They have the same height, but one is slightly different in depth and width. Sconce 1: H 19.3 in. (H 49 cm) W 9.45 in. (24 cm) D 5.52 in. (D 14 cm) Sconce 2: H 19.3 in. (H 49 cm) W 8.27 in. (21 cm) D 4.73 in. (D 12 cm) Net weight of both sconces: ca. 1.5 Kg Condition: Good original vintage condition. Wear consistent with use and age. One of the finial is replaced, is in same shape and size, but differs in color (silver). For their condition, please see all images uploaded in the listing.
