An exceptional Bauhaus table lamp created from an original 1930s Hanau Quartz Höhensonne therapeutic lamp manufactured in Germany. Carefully converted into an elegant functional lighting piece while preserving its authentic industrial engineering and distinctive Bauhaus aesthetic. The design features a large polished chrome reflector mounted on an adjustable mechanism with an original lacquered steel frame and ventilated cylindrical base. The sculptural silhouette combines technical precision with timeless Modernist elegance, making it an outstanding statement piece for collectors and interior designers. Professionally rewired and fully compatible with US electrical standards, the lamp offers practical functionality while maintaining its historical integrity. The polished chrome surfaces retain a beautiful vintage patina with only minor signs of age appropriate for an original piece from the 1930s.
