About the Item

A stunning Talavera ceramic table lamp, entirely handcrafted and hand-painted in Spain. Its large body takes the form of a classic amphora, embellished with spectacular serpentine handles glazed in shades of green, blue, and yellow, lending it a strong sculptural character. The main decoration depicts a horseman in an idealized landscape, executed with great detail and surrounded by traditional floral and vegetal motifs. The combination of cobalt blues, greens, yellows, and whites is characteristic of the prestigious Talavera ceramic tradition. The base is signed “El Alfa Talavera,” identifying its artisanal origin. Due to its scale, painterly quality, and decorative presence, this piece functions both as a practical light source and as a striking sculptural object.
