About the Item

Small ceramic table lamp by Swedish designer and ceramist Agne Aronsson (1924-1990), made in his own studio in Bjärnum circa 1960s. The lamp comes with a vintage lampshade which most likely is the original one. It's a clip-on shade made with fabric tape. The lamp is made from stoneware and has a dark brown glaze with a subtle stripe and circle decor around the shoulders. Marked on bottom with Agne Aronsson's logo. It's in a very good vintage condition. Measurements Height including clip-on lamp shade (as shown in photos): 40 cm (15.75") Height with socket: 24,3 cm (9.57") Height without socket (ceramic part only): 18,5 cm (7.28") Diameter lamp base: 11,2 cm (4.41") Diameter lamp shade: 15 cm (5.91") Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting. To protect the fabric lampshade we recommend a bulb which doesn't get hot by example a LED bulb. The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
