Antique 19th Century French Black Marble Column Table Lamp with Gilt Rococo An exceptional French 19th-century table lamp pairing the architectural strength of a classical column with the fluid elegance of Rococo design. The lamp features a deeply polished, rich black marble column with subtle natural inclusions, resting upon a tiered square marble plinth base. It is heavily adorned with finely cast gilt metal mounts, including an elaborate Corinthian-style capital featuring scrolled acanthus leaves and delicate floral motifs, and stands proudly on four ornate, scrolled Rococo bracket feet, its dramatic silhouette provides an exquisite grounding element for both traditional and contemporary interiors. The interplay between the dark, highly polished marble and the radiant, intricate gilt metal work creates an instantly luxurious, dramatic focal point. Modeled as a classical Corinthian column, it brings a sense of structural elegance and historic permanence to any tabletop.
