Wonderful ceramics table lamp made by Michael Andersen & Sons, Denmark in the 1920s. The earthenware lamp base was handmade and decorated with owl reliefs and expressive red glazing. Stamped underneath "MA&S" and model no. 621. Equipped with a new flax linen shade. Michael Andersen & Sons was a famous danish ceramics workshop established in 1890 at the small island of Bornholm, Denmark. They were one of Denmarks finest ceramics workshops.
