The Phallus table lamp by French designer Axel Chay is a sculptural and collectible design object that operates at the intersection of postmodern design, surrealist influence, and contemporary French craftsmanship. Inspired by Man Ray’s 1972 Priapus sculpture, the piece reinterprets classical symbolism through a bold and highly graphic visual language. Executed in lacquered steel with a deep matte blue finish, this sculptural table lamp features a cylindrical body anchored by two spherical elements, creating a composition that is both minimal and deliberately figurative.
