About the Item

BLOOPER table lamp creates its own light space, when the light from the invisible LED is bounced and reflected as indirect light behind the circular disk. By rotating the disk, which serves as both switch and dimmer, the light reflection goes from being turned off, to gradually ascend to the full reflection output by a simple, manual gesture. All steel parts of BLOOPER table lamp are made by traditional techniques from bygone times, mixed with the newest innovation of LED Turn the disc to switch the lamp on or off, or use it as a dimmer. Because of the hidden LED bulb which reflect the light into the hollow disc, the table lamp creates a soft and cozy light perfect for small nooks and crannies. Perfect for your windowsill or on your bedside table. All steel parts are made by traditional techniques from bygone times, mixed with the newest innovation of LED. This luminaire contains built-in LED lamps. The lamps cannot be changed in the luminaire. Mette Schelde has a Master of Arts in Architecture and founded her studio back in 2012, and has since then received several awards and nominations for her work. She works in a fusion between space and object, within which she creates lightning, furniture and architectural spaces for industrial productions. With a focus on function, Mette is able to create beautiful thought out designs which play with different materials, craftsmanship techniques and aesthetics. Since 2012 her studio has created ideas and prototypes, which has ended up as products for renowned Danish design companies, such as Bang & Olufsen and PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED.
