Dynamite Table Lamp by Patricia Bustos de la Torre Dimensions: D 32 x W 35 x H 52 cm. Materials: White opal glass, rattan and plush. The dynamite lamp is the most emphatic of all. Hair, opal ball and a rattan circle that are held together by a brass band as if they were a cartridge of explosives. Pure gunpowder about to explode. A lamp that blows our senses and takes us to universes never seen before. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. Please contact us. Patricia Bustos is an internationally renowned Spanish artist known for her work designing utopian pieces and spaces. Her creative gaze becomes an act of rebellion and her projects are full of a disruptive narratives that evolves with social trends. Her work is imbued with deep meaning because of her endless curiosity for the human being and its concerns such philosophy, language, architecture, art and nature. Her objects are handcrafted and aim to become cult pieces. Her work seeks to evoke aesthetic emotion trough a unique story behind every design. That is why wonder is the cornerstone of her work. The indelible memory that inspires us eternally comes from wonder. Through a bold use of color and an unexpected combination of shapes and materials, she is looking for contrast. Her pieces are distinguished by translucent or reflective elements juxtaposed with handmade or raw materials. As a result, her proposal achieves an atypical and fascinating balance at the same time.
