About the Item

The lamp you can see in the picture is very simple but impressive. It is precisely the striking complementarity between black and white, divided by amber, that makes it so elegant. It develops with two symmetrical cups divided by a ribbed sphere. The ribbed work is obtained from an iron mold that makes the surface "a coste", precisely. In addition, what looks white is an effect of the glass called Pulegoso. Pulegoso glass is made by mixing oil directly with the glass inside the furnace. This special processing gives the glass a pockmarked appearance. The lamp reaches a height of 55.5 cm, and a diameter of 18.5 cm and was produced by Fratelli Toso in 1975.
