French contemporary plaster lamp by Renzo Maar. Material : ceramic (white stoneware, colors) ; signed. Reminiscent of modern sculpture like those by Jean Arp, Constantin Brancusi and Alberto Giacometti, this lamp is in stoneware. Dimensions : 19 x 18 x 36 (W x D x H in centimeters) Renzo Maar is a young French-Italian artist and designer working with materials such as stoneware, plaster and metal. Passionate by the works of historical artists and designers like Alberto and Diego Giacometti, Jean Michel Frank, Serge Roche, Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé, Line Vautrin, Jean Royère and François-Xavier and Claude Lalanne, he combines minimalist shapes and pure colors to design mirrors, lamps and furniture.
