Impeccable Mid-20th Century Chinoiserie white pierced porcelain Blanc De Chine table lamp by Kabuki Fine China in Nagoya Japan, shade not included (unless you want the damaged white one let us know). Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. No outstanding flaws detected. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. This is an absolutely STUNNING table lamp composed of a lovely white pierced porcelain Blanc De Chine body with a domed top bearing beautiful floral details, possibly cherry blossoms within the intricate pierced details, and a deep brown disc shaped wood base. And, although we have some photographs of it wearing a black drum shade & its white original damaged shade, they are not included in the purchase (unless you want the damaged one!). That gives you LIMITMESS shade purchasing options!!! Did you know… “Blanc de Chine” translates to “white from China” and refers to a type of white Chinese porcelain originally made in Dehua, a town in China’s southeast coast. The popularity of Blanc de Chine influenced potters from other countries to develop their own hard white porcelains such as these from Kubuki Fine China in Nagoya Japan. Dehua still thrives as a porcelain town today!! COOL!! This marvelous table lamp bears a delicate beauty with a sophisticated aura and is sure to deliver just the right ambiance and brilliance to whatever room it is placed.
