About the Item

This beautiful Italian ceramic table lamp most likely dates from the 1960s and features a richly decorative hand painted floral design in warm tones of brown ochre and golden yellow. The rounded ceramic base has a soft glossy finish and is paired with a large elegant shade finished with long fringe trim giving the lamp a warm and romantic presence. The floral decoration wraps around the body creating movement from every angle. Marked underneath 75053 Made in Italy for Edwards confirming its Italian origin. The ceramic base shows a small chip near the lower edge of the base. Please refer to the detailed image. The shade also shows some spotting and signs of age related wear. These details do not disturb the overall impression of this exceptionally beautiful lamp. A highly decorative and atmospheric piece ideal for a bedside table living room or layered eclectic interior.
