In this listing you will find a monumental and highly refined French cut crystal and bronze column table lamp, attributed to Baccarat, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1905–1920. Executed in exceptionally heavy, high-lead crystal of remarkable clarity and density, the lamp is conceived as a true architectural object. Its vertical shaft is meticulously hand-cut with alternating deep fluting and finely articulated beaded (pearl) motifs, culminating in a sharply faceted transitional block that lends the piece both structural clarity and sculptural presence. The design reflects a sophisticated transitional moment between the decorative richness of the late Belle Époque and the emerging geometric discipline of the early Art Deco period.
