About the Item

Designed and made by Andrew Kornat Designs, this beautiful lamp is handcrafted from the finest materials in the Hollywood Regency style Made of Solid cast bronze & hand tooled brass with a hand slip-cast & glazed ceramic Egg. We have a pair in stock as shown in Polished Nickel with Seafoam Glaze egg. However this is current production and can me made in a huge variety of metal finishes and ceramic glazes The base plinth is made entirely by hand from 5mm thick brass plates that are welded internally to make a sleek sharp edged cube, and the lamp features two hand cast bronze leaf details mounted above and below the egg The seafoam ceramic egg has multiple layers of glaze in varying colours and oxides to create a totally unique effect - the egg is help in place but can rotate so you can chose which colours you want at the front of the lamp The central rod has two lamp holders pointing down to illuminate the cast details and ceramic eggs and has a finial fitting shade with a mouth blown glass finial Shown with a rectangular linen shade but can take up to an 18" Drum shade - so can be used on a console or side table depending on the shade chosen Currently wired with 2 x ES-E27 Lamp holders/ per lamp with UK Wiring - but we can easily rewire for the USA prior to shipping (no additional cost)
