About the Item

An impressive and extremely decorative pair of French and Asian collaboration 19th century Louis XV st. Famille Rose porcelain, crystal, and ormolu lamps. Each lamp is raised by an elegant and richly chased pieced ormolu base with beautiful scrolled foliate movements and smooth cabochon reserves in a rich satin and burnished finish. At the center is the exceptional baluster shaped Famille Rose porcelain body with colorful wonderfully executed hand painted scrolled foliate designs framing charming reserves of personages. Above are the elegantly scrolled ormolu arms with leaves and striking crystal pendants and exquisite candle cups.
