About the Item

Pair of vintage table lamps in a classical, neoclassical-inspired style. The lamps feature cylindrical fabric shades in a mint-olive tone with a subtle woven texture, finished with delicate trim along the upper and lower edges. One lampshade shows a slight crease. The lamp bodies are richly decorated with ornamental detailing. The central section is spherical and finished in green with stylized plant motifs. The column and decorative elements are executed in metal with a gold-tone and patinated bronze finish, including ring and fluted details. The lamps stand on solid polygonal bases with a gold finish and subtle decorative ornamentation. Each lamp is fitted with a classic power cord and switch. The mechanism bears the mark “Wild & Söhne Brenner Wien”, referencing a Viennese manufacturer of oil lamp burners active in the late 19th and early 20th century. The lamps were likely originally oil lamps and later converted to electricity, a common practice for decorative lamps of this type. Condition Good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use. One lampshade slightly creased. Electrified.
