Designed and produced in Denmark during the 1960s, this elegant wall mirror by Aksel Kjersgaard is a superb example of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern craftsmanship. Known for combining refined proportions with exceptional cabinetmaking, Kjersgaard's mirrors remain among the most sought-after pieces of Danish decorative design. The frame is crafted from solid teak, showcasing the rich grain and warm honey tones that have become synonymous with classic Danish furniture. Its elongated rectangular silhouette is softened by gently rounded corners and subtly arched upper and lower rails, giving the piece a quiet sculptural quality while maintaining clean architectural lines.
