A fine Regency Revival cheval mirror in richly figured mahogany, elegant in both proportion and detailing Antique piece - circa 1860 The tall rectangular mirror plate is set within a broad mahogany frame with softly rounded corners, the veneers displaying attractive flame figuring throughout The mirror tilts on turned side supports, secured with simple circular brass adjustment knobs, allowing it to be angled as required The uprights are topped with classic turned finials, lending a refined architectural presence. Below the mirror sits a decorative turned stretcher, adding strength and balance to the structure The whole stands on elegant splayed sabre legs terminating in original brass castors, making the piece easy to move Graceful and understated, this is a timeless dressing mirror that would sit beautifully in a bedroom, dressing room or hallway, combining practicality with classic Regency elegance.
