About the Item

Dressing table Mirror Art Nouveau - circa 1900 Attractive oval mirror set in a rectangular frame, purposefully distorted to create an organic form decorated with trailing ivy leaves and stems to the bottom left and a honey bee to the top right. The supporting strut is attached with a hinge and both are sound and serviceable. The piece is unsigned. Retaining much of its original gilt finish the mirror presents as a beautiful and delicate dressing table piece of the art nouveau period. 15 x 20.5 x 3cms
