Marble "Moon" mirror, Sebastian Scherer Dimensions: 60 diameter Materials: Glass, aluminium, marble nero marquina Different colors are available The "Moon" mirror is inspired by the shimmering shades of the moon. The circular mounting made of aluminum and marble holds the 7 mm thick mirror, a reminiscent of a satellite circulating its orbit. As a "coloured moon" out of color effect glass, the object gives a fascinating color accent to any room. The complementary colors change depending on the angle and brightness. The wall colour also has an influence on the intensity of the reflection. As a "silver moon" in the neutral mirror colour, it fulfils all the functions of a mirror. The orientation of the mirror can be freely selected. The NEO/CRAFT label was founded by the Berlin-based designer Sebastian Scherer after he won the Lexus Design Award 2014 for his Iris lamp (2013). The debut collection, which consisted of ten products, was first presented at the imm cologne in January 2015 in what Wallpaper* Magazine described as “one of the most impressive debuts in 2015.” Exhibitions at trade fairs in Milan and London followed this same year. Since then, Sebastian Scherer has worked as a designer and creative director in equal measure. The collection consists of his designs, but these can also undergo further development in the future through the input of other designers. The central element in his developmental process is the continual search for new creative possibilities with classical materials such as aluminum, steel, glass and wood.
