About the Item

This unusual handcrafted mirror, designed in in France the 1950s, features a unique and artistic design. The mirror frame is crafted from bamboo and rattan, shaped to resemble a fish. The structure is elongated, with the widest part surrounding the mirror itself, which is an oval or elliptical shape. Measurements: width 29.5“ (75 cm), height 11.5“ (29 cm), depth 2“ (5 cm) Mirror glass: 17.7“ (45 cm) x 8.7“ (22 cm) The mirror is in very good vintage condition with only few signs of gentle use (some small pitting spots). The glass without any damage. It can be hung horizontally or vertically. Overall, this mirror is a striking example of 1950s to 1960s mid-century design, combining natural materials with a creative and playful form.
