Round mirror with satin-finish aluminium frame and bevelled mirror model Narciso by Sergio Mazza for Artemide, late 1960s Sergio Mazza is an Italian designer born in 1931 in Milan.In 1955 he began freelancing and since 1961 has worked alongside G. Gramigna in the Smc studio, working in the fields of furniture and industrial design. Among the various recognitions and awards he received,it is worth mentioning the mention at the Compasso d'Oro 1960 for the Delta lamp by Artemide and the silver medal for the Italian Apartment at the 10th Milan Triennale. From 1967 he also began designing for Olivari, signing the Macco handles, until the Giuliana model, with Gramigna, in 1987. In the field of publishing, again with Gramigna, he directed the magazine "Ottagono" from its founding until 1988.
