About the Item

Late Victorian marimba constructed entirely from oak hardwood and features a fully integrated wooden resonator box frame. It is supported by its original, matching fixed wooden trestle stand, making it both a functional musical artifact and a striking sculptural display piece. The instrument works, though it might need to be tuned. Included is its original carved wood mallet, though the wood handle is cracked at the end.
