About the Item

This antique ship's wheel was made by the MacTaggart, Scott & Co. of Edenborough, Scotland and dates to approximately 1900 and done in the period style. This ship's wheel is composed of solid oak with a brass hub fitting with the maker's mark on the front with a brass surround and a brass cap on the handle at the twelve o'clock position.
