A fine antique William IV sterling silver communion beaker and wafer tazza; an addition to our religious silverware collection. This fine antique William IV English sterling silver communion set consists of a beaker and tazza. The antique beaker has a plain bell shaped flared form onto a spreading circular foot. The wafer tazza has a circular form with a plain circular foot. The surface of the tazza, upper rim of the beaker and foot are ornamented with a band of tooled decoration. This antique beaker retains the original gilt interior. The chalice has a circular rounded form onto a knopped pedestal and spreading foot with a collet style rim. The interior of the chalice retains the original gilding. The paten has a circular tazza shaped form to a plain circular spreading foot. The rim of the paten is embellished with an applied moulded border.
