About the Item

This is an early and high quality hand-painted plaster antique anatomical model of an adult human head. I would date this to 1900. The details are well-done and the brain is removable and splits in two. There is some plaster missing on the bottom of the brain. The model is life-size and mounted on an original wooden base. This example is unsigned but its most likely Bock Steger Lips [Leipzig].
