About the Item

This wonderful large format, oak standing artist easel is by E.H. & A.C. Friedrichs Co. This large professional easel has the traditional H frame with its original screw mechanisms, winding handle and an open shelf for storing art supplies. It is tilt adjustable and height adjustable from 74.5" - 111" and can accomodate up to a 68.5" canvas. Made to last and beautifully crafted, this sturdy easel can hold a heavy canvas you are currently working on or display art work in your home. Rolling casters are attached to the bottom of the H frame making it easy to move. The makers mark E.H. & A.C. Friedrichs Co. is stamped on the front of the easel. E.H. & A.C. Friedrichs Co., was a well-known supplier of artist materials founded in 1868. Items from this maker are sought after by collectors of vintage art supplies and studio furniture.
