Hand-knotted in wool, this monumental 12x15 rug is a rich new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Textural rug collection, featuring a sophisticated field of warm brown and gold tones. On the Design: Our textural collection enjoys an inventive take on plain rugs, with this particular design enjoying luminous, gorgeous tones of rich brown and warm and gold notes that give this large rug its particular beauty. Admirers of the craft will appreciate the subtle, but inventive approach to this simple, neutral, and warm piece with a comfortable presence and tone-on-tone striae, or a “patternless take on pattern” as our Principal Jahanshah Nazmiyal likes to refer to the sense of movement these rugs enjoy.
