53521, vintage Turkish Oushak runner with Mid-Century Modern style 03'05 x 10'03. With its striking appeal and saturated red color palette, this hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak runner appears like a sumptuous Italian velvet, recalling the rich and luxurious design furnishings of a bygone era such as the reign of King James I in Jacobean England. The abrashed red field features three stacked hexagonal medallions with complementary corner spandrels patterned with ambiguous tribal motifs. It is enclosed with a carnation meander border. Natural abrash gradations authenticate this gorgeous vintage Oushak runner and create an inimitable warmth and nostalgic charm. Rendered in variegated shades of red, eggplant, sand, light gray, ruby red, purple, lavender, gray, tan, charcoal, coffee, and slate gray with other accent colors.
