51730 Vintage Turkish oushak rug, 05'02 x 07'08. Steeped in Anatolian history with incredible detail and texture, this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The eye-catching medallion design and traditional colors in this piece work together creating a truly Classic look. The abrashed red field features a large scale fround medallion outlined with angular vinery and decorated with ambiguous symbols. The central medallion is anchored with tribal pendants at either end and stylized floral extend from the the sides. Complementary corner spandrels echo the medallion design. It is enclosed with a rectilinear Meander border flanked with an inner guard border. Perfect for a living room, bedroom, grand foyer or entryway, drawing room, great room, state room, formal sitting room, intimate parlor, wine cellar, conservatory, study, studio, home office or library, lounge area, country club or hotel lobby. Well-suited for a wide range of interior styles: Traditional, Jacobean, English, Manor House, Tudor, London Proper, Elizabethan, Baroque, Regency, Louis XIV, Louis XI, Louis XV, Victorian, Medieval, Henry VIII, Hepplewhite, Neoclassical, Old World, Contemporary, Modern and Eclectic.
