Indoor gardenia blue armchair by Jaime Hayon Dimensions: D 89 x W 70 x H 100 cm Materials: structure in aluminum and laminates in extruded aluminum. Powder coating in white (RAL 9001), grey (RAL 7015), or green (RAL 6021). Detachable upholstered cushions; covers are removable for washing; apt for outdoors with water-repellent foam. Also available outdoors. It has quality, personality, elegance and just the right amount of romanticism, and much versatility for the home as well as contract. Silver Delta Award 2014 winner. The Gardenias Collection is Jaime Hayon's second great collection for BD and has thrived on the same virtues as the first. It has quality, personality, elegance, the right point of romanticism, and lots of versatility, just right for the home as well as contract. It is divided into the outdoor collection, with the purpose of recuperating classic elegant furniture for the garden with contemporary style, and the indoor collection, which includes two armchairs, with or without a pergola, a sofa with sophisticated imagery, and the Monkey Side Table. Gardenias is the second collection by Jaime Hayon for BD. It’s made from extruded and cast aluminum, inspired in romantic gardens from the middle of the 20th Century. In 1972, a group of young architects and designers from Barcelona created BD with the aim of producing and marketing furniture and other objects for our projects, with complete creative freedom and with a criterion that has turned out to be quite different from the norm at companies in the sector, regarding both the shape and function.
