About the Item

Lounge chair/Easy chair, the "Experiment" by the radical designer Yrjö Kukkapuro for Avarte, Finland 1980s. These chairs where made in a small production. Chrome tubular frame and black leather upholstery with zippers, snap fasteners to frame. Armrests with pea green lacquered made of curved wood. The chair has a post modern design and could be used as a contrasting element in any interior. The position of the backrest and seat is very ergonomically which results in a very comfortable chair. It's in very good original condition with a nice subtle patina on the leather.
