A pair of late 19th Century giltwood salon chairs by the esteemed London maker William Bertram & Sons, celebrated for their exceptional craftsmanship and redefined interpretation of classical design. Each chair features beautifully carved acanthus scrolls and floral motif, richly gilded to capture the warm glow, artistry & grandeur of the late 19th Century Country House Interior. Upholstered in 19th Century French Tapestry Carved and Gilded Wood. Carved and Gilded Wood. Date : 1890 - 1895 Origin:- London, England Excellent antique condition, softly faded, consistent with age.
