This exceptional pair of armchairs is a masterpiece of 20th-century modern design, attributed to the renowned designer Anton Lorenz. Manufactured by the prestigious Mücke Melder factory in 1930s Czechoslovakia, these chairs are a perfect embodiment of the Bauhaus aesthetic. The frame, made of tubular chrome-plated steel, has been professionally cleaned to restore its brilliant luster and highlight its clean, fluid lines. The most remarkable aspect of this set is its condition – the armchairs feature their original leatherette in exceptionally good state, along with the original traditional upholstery, which remains firm and not sagging. Such an authentic, original condition is highly sought after by collectors.
