About the Item

This is a large hand-painted bench, having a padded yellow leather upholstered seat. The base of the piece was painted with a trompe l'oeil effect making it look as if it is multidimensional. The realistic imagery mimics the the dents, nooks and crannies that are exhibited by real bamboo. The feet of the piece don burnished brass sabots. This bench measures 28 inches deep, 59.5 inches wide, and 20 inches high.
